Q: Lump on middle/right side of back

I have a lump in the middle of my back, on the right side.
When my back is straight, it's feels small and soft, but when i bend, it feels bigger and hard.
I don't know how long i've had it though, when i first noticed it i thought it was a cyst because i've had one of those before but now it doesn't feel like it, what could it be?
