First off, I'm 26 years old.

I noticed this a long time ago, really dont know how long its been going on at this point, at least a year. I looked at it a couple times and just assumed that part of the anus was thick and was supposed to feel that way.

now that i finally got my hands dirty (no pun intended) and got a good feel of it, it wasn't just a bump its like a rod that goes down i don't know how far...I push in til it starts to hurt and I cant reach the end of it, I pinch and i feel it still goes further...in the mirror, I think I remember the lump being a slightly different color, blue-ish with the normal pink/red color around it.

is this a hemorhoid or is it more serious?

I have a history of bad bms, reflux, and other gastrointestinal difficulty. I frequently have "neverending wipes" if i don't consume enough fiber or take some psyllium husk, and usually there is a tiny amount of blood when i have to wipe

Do you find the bluish-purple masses located at the anal opening or extending from the anal to the perianal skin?
Have you noticed that you can replace the protruded lump back in the anal canal?
Do you feel irritation and itchiness of skin around the anus?
Are you experiencing stool leakage?

for the most part it only comes out during a bowel movement, and is only irritated since i have to wipe so much.

ive since been to a doctor and gotten suppositories (hydrocortisone base) and it seems to have shrunk a little and im mindful to avoid it as much as possible when i wipe :/

theyve also suggested sitz baths but i dont like to do them often because of time consumption...

anyways, not as big a problem as it was yesterday but i still am looking into getting insurance during open enrollment at work next month.

thank you for your reply.

According to the symptoms you are experiencing both types of hemorrhoids, external and inner ones.
Sufficient intake of water and fibrous foods can provide you temporarily relief from internal hemorrhoids.
Try not to strain when having bowel movements and avoid seating on a toilet for longer periods of time.
