I have had a lump on the back of my head ever since I can remember, but in the last two months it has grown, and now I get massive migraines. I am under a deal of stress right now, but other than that I don't know what the cause could be. I think I should see a doctor, but don't know who I should see and how much it would coast. How much would it cost to have it looked at? I don't have insurance, so I need to know how much it would cost to have someone to look at it.

Thanks,
Tammy Gardner

hello i suggest you attend an emergency room and have this checked out. a friend of mine had one on his forehead and it had to be removed as his headaches were unbearable..sorry can,t remember name of the cyst it had a medical term and we are not doctors..it must be pressing on nerves and allsorts and must be painful.
im for uk so learning to understand insurance problems and sympathise but please find a way to get checked out.

Hi. I have migraines as well and also have several different "knots" on the back of my head. I have paid lots of money for doctors and mri's. Turns out, just knotted muscles that pull and cause migraines. I go get a cranial sacral massage once a month. This may not be your issue, but for 40-50 dollars a massage therapist could tell if that's what it is. If not, then you'll need to spend a lot more for doctors
