Hey.. I am 15 years old and 2 nights ago i went to my bed to go to sleep and i noticed that whenever i stretched or lifted my left arm that it was very sore. I just went to sleep and didn't think anything of it. It was still sore the next morning and when i was gettin dressed i realised that it was my armpit that was sore. I pressed around with my finger to see where it was sore and i found the place and it feels like a really small lump- smaller than a pea. It's agony even when i dont press it or touch it and when i lift my arm or put my arm out to the side it is very sore. I told my mum about this and she says it might be to do with my period etc as that sometimes happens. If it isnt away by the end of the week she is taking me to the doctors. What my mum doesnt know is that i am on the pill. I've been with my boyfrend for over a year and we both decided that i should go on it because it is much safer and its better to be safe than sorry! I am beginning to worry that the lump is a side effect of the pill or even a sign of cancer!!! I'm worried that if my mum does take me to the doctors.. the doctor mite ask if i am on the pill! i dont want my mum to know because she would probably stop me seing my boyfrend!

what will i do? Should i try n go to get an appointment myself with a doctor??

please reply Crying or Very sad Sad i really need some sort of advice!!!!!!

Thanks for reading x Smile

I don't think you should worry at all!

Do you find this lump just under the skin surface?
Is there any redness?
Do you feel increased temperature of the skin over the lump?

Waiting for your post!

(Even if you mum find out about the pill, I'm sure she'll be happier to know that you are responsible for your actions, than not to do anything and pay for possible out come).
