Lump in right axillary

Hello I am a 43 yearold female and for several years I have had a lump in my right axillary, I was told by a doctor that it was just a swollen gland prob. from too much caffine but that was over ten years ago. It is about the size of a large grape, no pain unless I mess with alot. I have ignored it thinking it was nothing all these years but as I get older I find it is worring me do I have a reason for concern? My mother died at the age of 35 from complacations of Luekeminia(MS). Thanks
