Hey there
I'm 14 and Live in australia(This info my be useful to the condision somehow)
In the last week I noticed that I had a hard rounded lump inside my eyelid, around the middle of it. It is about 4mm in diametre all around, it does not itch, nor hurt, nor irretate my eye of skin or anything really in anyway.It's quite noticable at that too and sticks out a fair bit if I close my eye.
I've had a good look at it myself and it is defenetly not an infection, because I can feel it's quiet hard and not puffy and if has been gone down since last tuesday when I had 1st noticed it. It is also well and truely inside the actual skin of my eyelid.
Another thing is that when my eyes are open in it not visible so I doubt its anything from the sun's UV rays.

I have also had a number of styes lately due to make up around my eyes. so I'm not sure if that would ahve anything to do with it.

I should be going for a check up for it later this week, but I wouldn't mind some oppions about what it is 1st before I get it checked out, because I am getting quite worried about what it is and I don't know if I can wait till thursday or friday to get it checked out.

Have you been experiencing redness of the eyes and itching and irritation of the eyelids in both eyes before you got the styes?
Do you still have styes?
Were the styes painful?
Do you find this new lump painless and bigger than styes?

OKay well..

No, I don't believe I had any redness or itching. About 2 months ago or more I was away sick from school with glandular fever and just kept scratching my eyelids because I was dying from boredom. Then I got the styes and They haven't propperly healed yet.

Well every now and then, they're sort of on and off but there is normally a little scab on both of the top my eye lids right where my eye lashes are.
Sometimes I get them on the lower lids, but that's only when I don't was my eyes after having make up or irretate my eye lashes.


They styes were only painful when I irretated them. They're normally just scabs which arent infected. I suppose they're healing but they're very on an off from my removing the scabs.


Yes the lump is completely painless, does not hurt and yes it's sorta larger... It pokes out more. But the styes and the lump are two completely different shapes.

Are you experiencing swelling on the eyelid and eyelid tenderness?
Have you noticed some sensitivity to light?
Do you have increased tearing in that eye?
Do you feel heaviness of the eyelid?

These lump can be a chalazion, a small bump (cyst) in the eyelid caused by a blockage of a tiny oil gland.

hello
I am 19 years old and got the same little lump in my eyelid too. Its been there for months but it doesn't bother me or anything. It is just a bit sore when like I am pressing it. The lump is not noticeable when my eye is open but you can see the difference one eyelid is bigger than the other. Should i worry and see the doctor? or just leave it? please reply...thanks

okay i do not have a lump but i have an eyelash in my eye. im 16 and my right eye has been bothering me. at first it was just allergies, then i started feeling a sharp poking kind of pain. my eye has been constantly red also. while looking in the mirror i noticed an eyelash. i tried removing it but i wouldnt come out. then i had my uncle look at it and he noticed that this eyelash was growing on the inside of my eye. im really scared and this thing is really hurting. if someone please knows anything, please write me back or if you can tell me why this is happenng i would like that to.

im having the same problem the bottom lid of my right eye seems to be raised and i can feel a small lump, i had a sty there about 3 months ago and its been there sice is it worth going to see my GP XX

lage lump inside eyelids
I have the same lump but i have had it for about a year. about 4 or 5 months ago i got a much smaller lump in my other eye. im 14 also and its not impressing that i have a HUGE lump on my eye. it is absolutly noticable wheather my eye is open or closed. the smaller lump is easily felt. please help?

im 19 and my eyes have always been watery i guess b/c i have allergies but two nights ago i felt a tiny lump on my eyelid it was hard only hurt a lil bit when i touched it. im worries because ive had styes n my eye isnt swollen or anything and you cant see the lump its just makes me worry. would anyone know what it is? plz respond.

To anyone with ANY kind of lump or bump on or around eyes. GET IT Checked!! I had one appear @ age 15. Never thought anything about it! Last year @ age 23 I had a dermatologist cut a Peanut-m&m size hole out of the corner of my eye. It was BCC. Plastic surgery fixed it but still was lots of pain. Get it checked!!!

A very small lump on my eyelid
am 18 i have a small lump on my right eye lid it doesnt hurt or impair my vission but when i push it down it feels like a vain has inlarged what should i do i have had this for about a week now i keep putting eyedrops on them but it seens not to be disapering what should i do?

All I know is that there is a little lump on everyone's bottom eye lid. It is a tear duct, you shouldn't touch it or bother with it or it might get infected. Wearing make up young and wearing to much can increase number of styes.You shouldn't worry about the hole or lump at the bottom of your eye, as I said everyone has it. No-one is going to stare at the bottom of your eye lid so you shouldn't be to self conscious and don't put any medication on it!And for the person with the eye lash in the eye, I think you should really go to the doctor or something to get it removed.

I developed bumps in my eyelids (one on each eye) and i went to a few doctors and it turns out it was Preseptal Cellulitis. It's the blocking of oil from leaving glands which results in bumps of oils. I was on medication for a few weeks and i was told to put warm compresses on my eyes everyday to help the oils go away.

I have the same exact thing happening to me now.
I do wear makeup on my eyes. I haven't been wearing as much because it's summer, but this hasen't ever happened before.I had a sty in my right eye, and it went away after about a week or so, right after that,(Litterly) i got a sty in the other eye, it is still here, almost healed. But i noticed about four days ago, a little bump INSIDE of my right eyelid. It's not painful at all, it moves with my eyelid, i lifted my eyelid up and nothing is there. Anyone can see it when i close my eyes, it's very noticible, you can touch it and it feels like a little ball. What is it?

AH do i have eye cancer ? o.O
Im 14 i have the a pea shaped lump under my left top eye lid on the right corner.it doesnt hurt only when i touch it and push it. im reading all of these things and getting really worried.It feels like a ball and i can move it. urg im worried now !

I am 23 and last night i felt something rubbing my eye every time i shut it,it doesn't hurt but it is irritating .It isn't noticeable yet and its on the edge of my eyelid,what should i do,wait a week and see if it goes away or go to the doc now?

I'm 13 and i to have a lump on my right eyelid in the right top corner,it has been there for about a year. When i touch it it does not hurt, it moves with my eyelid. it is noticeable when my eye is open ,the eye lid is a little bit red er than the other.. Should i be woried??
