Q: lump in earlobe ?

I have recently found a random tiny bump in the curve of my right earlobe after wiping with a q-tip, i cant see it but i could feel it if i rub my finger in my earlobe and it slightly hurts at the touc or press. any ideas what it could be? im a little worried Rolling Eyes

another strange thing is that i would move my finger across it and feel it but then i would move it again in the opposite direction and not feel anything

Are you ears pierced? Have you recently pierced them or recently allowed them to close? It could be an infection from the piercing.

i do have ear peircings from a very long time there not new and im always wearing earings and well the earings do get dirty sometimes and it starts to itch but the bump is not even near the peircing its all the way up in my earlobe and far away

Ok, when you said earlobe it threw me off. The lobe refers to the bottom fleshy part of the ear. Since it is in another area, I suspect it may be a pimple. If you apply a warm compress to it, it should come to a head. After you pop it the pain should go away.

im terribly sorry i accualy came back to correct it after i realised i was mistaken by saying earlobe, im so sorry.
thank you ill try to see if it comes to a head

No problem. I hope it goes away soon. I know acne can be extermely painful when it occurs on or in the ears.
