Q: Lump found behind ear

I found a knot/lump behind my 20mth olds ear. I felt something a couple days ago but it now seems bigger. It is behind his right ear midway. It does not seem like a swollen gland. Was wondering if anyone knew what this could be? There is not one behind his left ear and have felt around for swollen glands and did not find one any where else. If anyone has any thoughts on what this could be please let me know!! I am not normally a nervous/worried mom but this scared me!!! Thanks, Shelly
