I've had a lump in my right armpit since as far back as i can remember. but the thing with my lump is, that it only forms a week or so before i'm abt to get my period and its also most painful then and then after my periods end, the lump disappears along with the pain. i went to a gyne a few years ago...I think when I was 17, 18 and she felt it and said its just a breast gland and that I shouldn't palpate it. thats all.

but its the same size since and it hurts only when i get my period, it also properly forms only when i'm having my period. what could it be? do i need to get operated? because it really doesn't bother me...and it doesn't hurt until i press on it so it doesn't cause me any discomfort so i don't mind just letting it be. unless I am at a risk of getting breast cancer. I'm really worried! can someone please answer this my question!! I would really appreciate it!
