my husband has discovered a hard lump benind ear on bone area , concern is he had cancer in the lymph nodes on others side and had to have neck muscle , and lymph nodes removed , should i be concerned?

It is impossible to provide a specific diagnosis over the Internet. However, if he has one or more persistently firm and enlarged lymph nodes (and, especially, if any lymph nodes are continuing to enlarge, or new enlarged lymph nodes are occurring), then he may require a biopsy in order to rule-out lymphoma.
