Hello, have a question has anyone here had the rhiztomy (Lumbar) and had any complications or feeling like it is getting worse? I had mine last friday and my pain in my legs is gone but as the days go by my back feel like someone is squeezing it and it throbs and I keep getting hot flashes and nausea. Going to call the doctor tomorrow but if feel horrible cant hardly stand or walk. Please write me.

Lumbar Facet Rhizotomy
I had laser Lumbar Facet Rhizotomies performed at L-3/4, L-4/5, and L-5/S-1 on February 19,2008. It took about four months for the procedural pain and inflammation to subside. I am now 70% free of the knife-like pain I experienced before my procedure was performed. Have patience - you should improve with time!

Thank you, it is getting a little better. The pain in my back is improving, I think I'm just trying to go to fast.
