I have read that one symptom of LPR is a sense of nasal congestion. I experience this, but I don't understand the physical reason for it. Does anyone know?

Nasal congestion is a symptom of LPR, cause the acid reflux extends past the Upper Esophageal Sphincter into the upper airways, affecting nasal mucous (the acid will cause inflammation of nasal lining leading to nasal congestion, post nasal drip and runny nose).
