My boyfriend and I had sex and I'm having a lot of pain in my lower stomach area. What does it mean? We did it Wednesday and now it's Saturday. Along wIth this pain came a frequent urge to pee and it's really hard to hold it long enough to make it to the bathroom. I used to have issues holding it cause I never got that "oh look I have to pee" feeling but more do that "omg I have to go now" as the very first "I have to pee" sensation, but it went away late last year. Now that I have these lower stomach pains, it's back. What's going on??
Some factors that may help you answer:
1) Im 18 years old and this was only my second time ever having sex (he was my first also)
2) there was a 2 and a half year gap between the first time and this time
3) I don't take any medicatipns at all (stopped the BC pull after cycle regulated after my Jan. menstraul)
An UTIhas nothing todowithhealth of your your partner. Itis a bladder infection. It often happens after sex because of the rubbing and friction of a foreign object around your pee hole.
The other thing it can be is bruising of your cervix due to deep and hard penetration. It may also cause some spotting and bleeding. Because your cervix will touch the vaginal walls when you move, it can stay painfull for a few days.
Seems to me like you are having a urinary track infection I suggest to see a doctor about getting sulfurate stuff that's an anti biotic and makes you pee a lot to clean yourself out all the bacteria!
Basically go urinate before and after sexual activity and prevents you from getting UTI but I was prone to UTIs so I know these symptoms. Peeing a lot means you body wants to get rid of the Infection. Usually have the craziest urge to go pee with tingles when you go. That's a warning sign to get it looked at.
Sometime if its not an UTI sometimes you have irritated the opening of your vagina and causes it to tingle having the urge to urinate more.
