Q: Lower left abdominal pain?

Every once and a while a little bit before lunch and a while after it I have pain in my lower left abdominal area. It will usally happen for a few days and then go away for a while or happen once and go away for awhile. It comes back usally a few weeks later. What could it be? I don't think it's anything serious because I don't have any other syptoms than that (sometimes I do feel like I'm going to be sick though). If it was something seriuos wouldn't there be more syptoms and wouldn't it not go away? WHat could it be?
Thank You.

Extremely eHealthy
Left lower abdominal pain with tenderness in that area, sometimes accompanied with bloating, constipation, and even nausea and vomiting, could be sign of diverticulosis (a condition of having diverticula, small pouches in the lining of the large intestine).
Another conditions that can be taken in consideration are IBS, or tortuous colon (longer and colon with more loops).
