Hi everyone. My lower jaw is more forward than the upper,so i need orthognathic surgery,to correct the deformity. The reason for me is only cosmetic, because, although lower jaw is protruding a lot,i can chew normally, ena speak normally.I have heard many things about this kind of surgery, visited both orthodontist and oral surgeon. Some said it is safe to undergo this surgery, most times with no complications, others said it is very big surgery and i should avoid it!If anyone has done this kind of surgery, please tell me if it is worth it.
