Q: Lower Chest Pain after Gallbladder Removal

I had my gallbladder removed about a month ago, no stones just attacks. I am 24 and otherwise in good health. About a week ago I started getting attacks in my lower chest/ribs area. They last about 10 minutes and vary in pain. Sometimes they are tolerable I just need to sit for a few minutes and other times I am on the floor in tears. This morning one woke me up. The pain can be very intense making it hard to breath and making me vomit. While I can feel it coming I don't get much warning, maybe a minute and that is about how fast it goes away. I asked my surgeon when I went back for my check up and he said it didn't sound related. After looking online I saw a couple people with similiar problems but I never found any detailed information. I don't have health insurance so I can't afford to keep doing test until they come up with a solution. Is this related to the surgery or is it something completly different? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cramping Pain on Right Side
I had my GB removed about 3 years ago and I still suffer from the cramping pains on my right side. I have had a sonogram and a bunch of tests and they did not come up with anything. The pains subsided for quite some time but now they are back. I have heard that it is from scar tissue rubbing on the diaphragm.

i get this same exact pain, and got it last night making me vomit it was so bad. a few months ago it did not go away for about 12 hours and i was in the ER gettin injections of morphine. its usually brought on by what you eat..theyve done sonograms and xrays and everything on both me and my mom many times and have not found anything. so we are 95% sure its extreme gas. dont eat anything too fast, especially foods that will give you gas. and avoid eating things that will give you gas when you are hungry.
be careful, it can get really scary..
