Q: Lower backache and spotting

I have had a lower back ache since 12 dpo. I had some light brown spotting when I wiped also. I am now at 16 dpo and still no af and the back ache remains. Has any one had a lower back ache in early pregnancy? I do not have any other symptoms, except feeling a little emotional. What are some other strange symptoms that others had experienced early on in pregnancy?

If you are 16 dpo, why haven't you tested?

My period has been some what irregular. One month my cycle will be 25 days, and then it will be 29 the next month. Ive have been monitoring my basal body temp and estimated my last ovulation at 16 days ago (but could be 14 because I had two dips in temp.) I have been taking pregnancy test for the last 6 months thinking that I was pregnant for sure each time, only to be disappointed. I am going to wait 2 more days to see if af comes. I was just wondering if any one had experienced lower back pain in early pregnancy.

Yes. That was my first symptom with my second pregnancy. I had to have my husband's help for a week with putting our toddler to bed because it hurt to bad to lift her. The following week I developed a super sensitive sense of smell and knew then that I was pregnant again.
