Q: lower back pain cause ?

When i was playing soccer, i went to slide, and my knee hit the ground and threw my back backwards. Now, when i try to bend backwards or touch the spot (which is what feels like one of the disc in my lower back) it is very painful. What could it be and what should i do?

Extremely eHealthy
Start by seeing you primary physician. You may need to see a spine specialist, but first step would be your primary doctor.

Make sure to insist on getting an MRI - a lot of doctors don't recommend MRI until after physical therapy. I think that is a mistake - I think you should know what is causing your problem before you start treatment.
