Back pain symptoms may seem obvious. But do you know when symptoms of back pain are more serious or when to see a doctor? Learn what action to take & when...
About a month ago I was having bad pains in my left side, kind of in my hip. The pain would also shoot down towards my thigh! It was painful so I went to the ER! After about 3 hours the pain eased off. The Doctor did a CT scan couldnt find anything wrong. All she said was that there was free fluid in my pelvis. And it was possible a cyst had burst. I also had a bacterial infection and she gave me Flagyl to take. Other than that everything was fine. No problem with my kidneys or bladder. I've had a cyst removed about 3 years ago and 1/4 of my left ovary had to be removed. I'm guessing the pain did come from another cyst. Lately I have been having lower back pain in both sides across. I haven't lifted anything heavy. About a week ago I was burning slightly when I would urinate and there was a little blood, I quit drinking soft drinks and took AZO. It quit burning and that went away within a few days! I no longer have that problem at all. My stomach is tender to touch at times also, but I have had that for years and everytime I go to the doctor and make a point to say something all I get is "Well I hope it's not a hernia" and it's left at that. I'm sure there could be a number of reasons my back could be hurting! I'd appreciate any advice! Thanks!

I would suggest that you get in to see a Gynecologist, Urologist or whoever you doctored with on the ovaries....I don't think it is your back, but could possibly be your kidneys or bladder or possibly ovaries with the blood present..Have them dig deeper finding out the problem...Get to a Specialist to get to the bottom of it...I am not a doctor or nurse, but this does concern me...Good luck and keep us posted...

I made an appointment to see my Gynecologist. Thats January 22nd though. Thats the most recent appointment they could give me. Which sucks. But I'm having another problem now. My back pain is now a dull ache, off and on not really as bad. I had my period about 2 weeks ago. Now only in the mornings when I wake up there's a pinkish discharge when I wipe and then its gone I see it no more during the day at all. Todays the second day its happend. I've taken a pregnancy test, it was negative. I freak out just a little at the thought of pregnancy. I had lost my son when I was 28 weeks pregnant, that was a year and a half ago. My husband wants to try again. Im not on birth control. I quit taking it about a month ago. So that could have messed my period up and how I am feeling. I'm not really sure what's going on. So I was thinking it could possibly be an infection or just too early to tell if I am pregnant without a blood test.
