hi my right side of the right hip is aching badly since 6months back I had my lower back pain can i do exercises when it is paining or not what is the remedy? I work as a software engineer thank you I consulted a doctor he said its quiet normal

6 months of chronic pain is NOT normal. You probably have other problems but one of the best you can do for back / hip pain is to stretch your hip flexors. Especially your right side in your case.

1) Pay a licensed massage professional to "Release your psoas"
2) Stretch it on your own:

- "Progressive groin stretch" (DO a Google search)

- "Standing quad stretch" (D0 a Google search)

- "Hip Flexor Stretch - the Lunge". Try putting the front leg up on the stairs for a better stretch.

- If you are very motivated: "Front splits". Front leg is straight, back knee has a pillow under it for padding.

Hip and lower back pain
I had the same problem for two years. I couldnt sleep at night because both my hips hurt
So much. Driving in the car for even 20 minutes was painful. Im not a doctor so i cant say for sure what the cause of your pain is but its worth trying what i did because i got 90 percent relief within five days and now after two weeks of performing these piriformis stretching exercises i am completely pain free. I cant believe i put up with it for so long.
Search the web for piriformis stretches. The sitting in a chair with a crossed leg and laying on the floor and rolling my hip and buttocks over a tennis ball were the only two exercises i needed. Good luck
