My girlfriend had a surgical abortion before our relationship when she was only 17. Since then her periods were irregular and she has experienced lower abdominal pain. Symptoms have worsened in severity and she now had no period for 3mos. She has had symptoms of pregnancy twice since the abortion but the first time doc said it was a fallopian blockage and ordered an ultrasound. upon reviewing the results doc said could be possible cysts but usure and needed more testing but insurance lapsed. This time no doc just negative pregnancy test results. Insurance from new job won't be effective for at least three months.

Is it possible that it could be endometriosis? What else? And why is she experiencing infertility? She is very concerned and I have no good answers.
