Abdominal Pain Answer A5706
Current medical status: I have no current diagnosed condition.....I live in a small Missouri town & every DR here assumes there's nothing wrong.
Current medical treatment: Nothing......I have a new doctor I will be seeing on Monday 1/9/09

Referring to the symptoms you reported, you might be experiencing several unrelated conditions.
The pain in the perineal area and the pain during intercourse might be due to an inflammation or infection in that area. You might want to visit a gynecologist about this condition.

The pain in the lower left abdomen might be related to several conditions: problems with the left ovary or gasses in the descending colon. Try to remember if you have regular gasses and/or constipation.

The pain between the shoulders might be connected with the bloated abdomen, thus indicating the presence of chronic stomach inflammation. You might want to try over-the-counter antacids or have a test for Helicobacter pylori.

The pain in the left shoulder might be radiating from the inflamed stomach. Treating this condition might decrease the pain in the left shoulder. Otherwise, you might want to visit an orthopedist for a further shoulder examination.
