im 36 weeks pregnant and my iron level is still low...i beleive they told me they average level for a pregant women is 13 but mine is 8..my docotor suggested i take slow fe(1 pill a day)..since i dont like taking big pills...but my question is im due feburary 18th so can my iron level go up to the normal level by then if i stay consistant everyday?..i just dont want to cause complications during labor

i know exactly how you feel; my iron is 7.1 ; which is severly low; it wasnt like this until i got pregnant; i also take slow fe; which i have to take 2 times. if you keep taking them it will go up.
