Im a 11 year post open RNY patient. Im in the Uk. On B12 inj every 8 weeks.
Recently had my bloods done as I was feeling really tired, exhuasted is a better word really. Moody having sweats more at night. etc.(I'm 47) I was wondering if I was becoming menopausal and/or was hypothyroid or ferritin levels were low. I have just found out my labs are as follows. Only abnormal results follow.

serum ferritin 9 ng/ml (25-350)

Hormonally
LH 45.7 U/L (1.5-9)

FSH 71.0 U/L (1.5-15)

Gee I think im going to be getting a call from the surgery soon lol . Looks to me like im verry low in iron and menopausal.
Anyone else have these kind of labs and what was done. I do realise everyones treatment is differant and so are GPs .. Just looking for others experience.
Thanks
