Q: Low ejection rate

I am trying to decide if I should have my gallbladder removed or not. I had a HIDA scan which showed my gallbladder had an ejection rate of only 6%. I do have some burning in my upper abdomen as expected. Although the majority of my pain really feels like sharp gas pains in my lower abdomen following high fat meals. Has anyone else had this symptom and had relief after gallbladder removal? My doctor says there is a 90% chance the surgery will help me although I am not sure given the fact that the worst of my pain is actually lower in my abdomen.
