Q: low blood sugar but not diabetic

HI!!
i get low blood sugar and all the symptoms of hyperglycemia,
but i'm not a diabetic as the blood sugar never goes "high"
i only ever get this when i dont eat regularly and use up energy,
i am due to have an operation soon and have to fast!!
but as i am not a diabetic it is unlikely that they will put me on a glucose
drip?
i wonder if anyone has ever experienced this and could inform me?

It's nothing to worry about. I underwent the same thing. The glucose is minor and goes directly into your blood, so it doesn't pass the pancreas and cause it to overreact.
