Ok........I have always...have been normal in that part.....I was about 210,000.......but dropped to 70,000.....in 6 months.
I say 6 months..but I really do not know when.

I had a blood test ( routine ) done 6 months ago...and went back to see my Family DR.....to get some prescription filled. He tells me.....I forgot to call you..........you have to get another blood test done fast...today !!??

He also told me that my white blood cells are abnormal.
Great.....
He would not tell me anything.
Here are my symptoms ( as he didn't want or have the time to listen to them )

Tired...night sweats, bleed a lot...( minor cuts ) bruising, flu-like aches all over, depression ( a bit )
I know it could be anything.....but My Mother died from Leukemia at 55...
Is it hereditary ?

Oh......befour you say change Dr's......I am doing that.

Thanks...

Low Blood Platelets
I have run a lot blood platelet for years-60's -80's. Today it was 40 and I am scared to death. I work part-time and the least little thing makes me real tired. My appetitie is good and I'm usually in a good mood. I don't see many bruses-except if I hit or bump something and I don't see ANY bleeding, except occasionally when I bursh my teeth and my dentist claims it is from my gums. My doctor hasn't told me anything except she is watching it. I do plan to get another opinion and would like any advise on what to do. Any suggestions-worried in Texas.
