Hi,

Im a bit concerned about my wife Dee Dee, recently (past 2 weeks) she has become covered in unexplained bruises on the front and back of her legs, buttocks, front and back of her arms and now some have appeared on her breast.

She has been diagnosed with fibromyalsia in 2005 and now cannot work, she is being seen by a dr and he perscribes her loratab. We dont have insurance so we cannot afford the fibromyalsia scripts as they are over $300 a month.

Anyway, she is/was a nurse and doesnt seem too bothered by the bruises but I am concerned that something serious is causing them.

Any help will be appreciated and you may pm me.

Thanks for your time,

Tracy

Extremely eHealthy
Fibromyalgia is usually associated with another condition, known as hypothyroidism.
Hypothyroidism or low thyroid hormone levels is one of the causes for excessive and easily bruising.

She needs to be checked for her platelets blood count and blood clotting factors along with her thyroid hormonal status!

Best wishes!
Marija
