Hi,
My name is Natalie and i'm 13years old.
I have recently lost alot of weight and keep getting very dizzy.
I feel ill just thinking about food and if ever i am forced to eat i cant keep it down.
I recently lost my best friend, who had a stroke.
I lost my sister when I was young to cancer.
I get extremely depressed and i dont know where to go for help. I don't feel myself anymore and my friends all say that i have an eating disorder but i don't know what to do.
Where can i go for help?
Is it an eating disorder or am i just wasting my time?

Thanks bye .x.

hi natalie
Hi honey,
You've obviously been going through so much stress your whole life and a lot of things can lead to an eating disorder it just depends on the mental state and physical state youre in now. Do you feel like you have an eating disorder and if so what is making you feel that way? Are you binging and purging or starving yourself? You could have lost the weight for many other reasons than an eating disorder also. If you're exercising or if youre jsut stressed and lost your appetite.. you just have to look at the things in your life that you think have led to this.

Im so sorry for all your losses.. If you ever need to talk my aim is
miss alessandrax

good luck..

ALi

Hey Natalie
Your situation sounds identical to something a few of my friends went through when they were younger. However, of course I don't know everything that is going on in your life, so I was wondering...
- Did you recently enter a new school (junior high, high school, etc.)?
- Do you have a friend who seems to be having the same problem?
- Do you drink? (I know you are thirteen, but its an honest question).
- The last question is whether or not you are close with your mother. Is she a business woman, or did she put you in pageants when you were younger?

If you are still following this post, I think I can help if you can answer my questions. I hope I can!!!

hello
Hello,
Well to start off, I am really sorry to hear about your friend and your sister..seems like you've been on some bumpy roads in your life so far and just think that you went through all of that and you are still standing, you should be proud of yourself. Well first off, it could be an eating disorder that you have but no way to find out unless you go to the doctors/seek professional help. If you have thoughts about food like you don't want to eat them because you are going to get fat or you want to eat things that are low in fat..I mean you have to eat at times...what kind of things do you eat? It could be an eating disorder but no way to find out for sure unless you seek professional help. I would definitely let a parent or a guardian know what is going on so they could help you..if not a parent or guardian than a close relative. Do you feel you are hungry at times and just ignoring the hunger? You could be going through a state in your life where you are battling an eating disorder..I mean you are going through a lot in your life right now..are you having any other troubles besides losing your friend and your sister of cancer? When people get really depressed they can either eat excessively (too much) or not eat enough..which could be what you are doing. When I am depressed I know that most of the time I'm not hungry at all and have to force myself to eat something so I don't become sick. Just try to keep down some food because if you don't you will end up in the hospital because you will be come malnutrition..so even if it's crackers, eat something. Definitely suggest seeking a higher level of help. Let me know how everything goes and definitely keep in contact if you want. Don't stress it too much. Are you going to a therapist at the time?

Stay strong.
