TMJ has taken quite a few of the things I loved away from me, and I'm worried about my hands. I have the tell tale pain down my arms, sometimes worse than other times, and I find that my thumb on my right hand (the right side is where the TMJ is most severe) seems to be harder to move lately, almost feels like its frozen up. I love to play the guitar and to play video games, and most of all my hands are important with my job. So if anyone has any advice to offer me I'd really appreciate it.

I was just told that blending all my food for 30 is the only thing that will cure it, as it gives the muscles in the jaw time to heal by not using them. I was told by a chiro in San Fran. I am on day 2 and am hoping for the best. I will ask her for the name of the dentist that suggested this, and post it when I get it. Good luck!

I have the same issue only in my left side I was taking a shower and rubbed soap on my cloth and my thumb and hand went stiff it scared the crap out of me then my ears closed a little and igot lightheaded I almost fainted I had to get out of the shower and lay on the florr for a while til it subsided I hope you a are doi g better with your tmj symptoms at least I feel so
