Q: lost knee extension after ACL tear

I tore both ACL and MCL in March during a skiing accident. My knee cannot get full extension after injury. The doctor always say it is still premature to have surgery. After 8 weeks painful physical therapy, I am still not able to straight my leg out. What should I do? Anyone had same experience before?

You may want to pose this question to Ask The Doctor at the top of this page...Personally I would see an Orthopedist about this...
