I just started my second week of my cycle on Orthotricyclen, when I lost the pills somewhere in my house. I had unprotected sex twice: once before my birth control was missed, and again after I had been off of it for about 55 hours. Since I still have yet to find it, I've not taken it since. I've heard that if you stop taking the pill in the middle of a cycle, your period will start. I started bleeding after being off the pill for three days, but it wasn't my normal flow. There is absolutely no clotting, which is unusual as my periods are always heavy with thick clotting. Odd, but I attribute it to the fact that I just had a full period two weeks before. My question is, if by chance an egg was fertilized during my period of stupidity, it wouldn't implant for another couple days yet...I'm assuming by then my bleeding would stop...would the bleeding that happened these past few days prevent it from implanting?
