My 87 year old grandmother has to strain her voice to talk. Her voice almost drags until she can get a one word out at a time. She has had a sinus problems for years and used inhalers for years.

Has this problem ever occurred before and is there a solution? My grandmother is a tough cookie and she would like to use her regular voice without surgery.

Please advise?
