Q: Loss of hearing

I recently was slapped on my left ear and now it feels stuffy and I have some hearing loss. Can you please tell me if this will go away and get better with time or should I seek help for it?
There is no blood leakage, nor was there blood when it happened. I am a musician and am fearful of not getting my hearing completely back.
