Q: loose and grainy stool

My stool began to change suddenly a few months ago, but I did not think anything of it at first. However, I now think I may have a serious problem. Over the summer and particularly recently, I began exercising and working out 5x a week. I eat extremely healthy and clean. I do not seem to be losing weight, however. My stool is very strange ... It is not diarrhea, but it is lose in the sense that it just falls apart. It is grainy -- that is the only description I can think of. It's as if there are white dots in the stool, and it seems as if I'm not digesting all of my food, either, as it's evident in the stool. My doctor checked my thyroid over the summer, and she said I was fine, but i have NO idea what this problem could be. I'm not sure if this is somehow normal? I probably should have had this checked out a long time ago. I also had a very abnormal weight gain around the same time that this started. Help Sad What tests can I have done?
