ive had this yeast infection since January, i have done everything to try and get rid of it but nothing seem to work. I took canestan and i have taken prescription medication both did not work, i have tried the yogurt tampon and my doctor told me to flush out my vagina with vinegar and nothing seems to be working. i do flush it with water every week to clean out the yeast or it jus builds up. i feel so self conscious and have not fool around with guys for a long time b.c of it. my ex suggested that it was b.c i masturbated too much and that i was dirty. he was a jerk... my doctor said that if non of those treatments worked then theres nothing i can do about it and im just going to have to live with a yeast infection for the rest of my life... IS THERE ANOTHER SOLUTION, I DESPERATE FOR SOME ACTION!! i would go out there and mingle with guys but im so scared that when i take my undies off or they go down on me its gonna smell really gross and taste horrible too ! what can i do ?i really want to get rid of this and not smell and not taste bad !

Ok, what have you tried?
How often do you wash-- I'm not saying you're dirty, but maybe you wash too often. Could your diet be a factor?

Have you been taking regular antibiotics?

Please please please STOP cleaning out your vagina. The vagina is a self-cleaning organ and douching with vinegear and water can cause an upset in the natural bacteria, thus allowing the yeast to continue growing. Please find a new doctor. One that does not tell you there is no cure. One that does not suggest douching. Doing it once with vinegar is okay, but using that and water as a part of daily routine or even weekly routine can upset the natural balance of good bacteria down there.

Stop douching. Stop constantly washing. Stop rinsing with vinegar!

It's messing everything up. Your vagina is self cleaning and NEEDS to have its own balance. There are necessary bacteria that need to be there to stop the yeast from taking over. Antibiotics and constant cleaning kills that bacteria and then the yeast takes over.

Get some yeast infection medication (just the normal over the counter stuff) and take that. At the same time, stop everything other than a simple wash in the shower as you would wash any other body part. Make sure you are dry afterwards and wear cotton panties with loose fitting clothing for awhile.

Don't douche unless you have to and certainly not every day; it’s so bad for your vagina. I agree with MOHSO, you need a new doctor!

Have you been checked by your doctor to see if you are diabetic. Sometimes this will happen if your blood sugars are high for any period of time. You'll get a yeast infection and it will just keep going until you get your diet under control.
