Q: Long Term Chest Pain

Im a 23 year old male and I have been having chest pain for many months now.

I have been to the emergency room and to my regular doctor several times. I have had many EKGs, chest X-rays and a CAT scan of my chest, which all apparently came back looking good / normal.

I usually notice the pain when sitting down at my computer (I work at a computer). Sometimes its pressure, sharp pains, pain all the way down my arm to my finger, shoulder pain, burning, shortness of breath, etc. It varies a lot.

I've been told its from sitting for long periods of time and now getting up to move around. The same doctor who told me that advised me to start doing yoga. Besides sitting most of the day I do try to get out and exercise. I was also taking Prilosec on two different occasions during these months without any improvements.

I've also been told its from stress. I went through a period of time at the beginning of all this pain where I was undergoing a serious amount of stress in my life. Since then I have not been as stressed out, but I would say Im not 100% stress free about this issue.

I seem to be getting no where with my current doctor who just told me to start taking Naprosyn. I really want to start taking another medication, without knowing the source of the problem.

Can anyone suggest anything at all or offer some solutions / experiences?

Thanks
