I started taking birth control pills several months ago, for the first time. I am just finishing up my 2nd pack of 28 pills (I'm on the last week - the inactive pills). Before I took birth control, my cycle was quite regular, with my period coming every 28 days ( /- a few days). Since starting the pill, my period has come both times, before I started taking the inactive pills and has lasted for more than a week. This time, I've had a regular flow since my period started at the beginning of the 3rd week of pills. I am getting married in a month and would like to prevent my period from coming around that time. I was planning to skip my next set of inactive pills but now I'm not sure if that will help since my period seems to be starting before I start the inactive pills. Is this cause for concern? Is there anything I can do to prevent my period around my wedding?
