I used loestrin as an emergency contraceptive! I took five at one time. Should it be effective, and how do I continue with the rest of the packet now?

You do not say which Loestrin? And if you are on the pill, why did you need emergency contraception?

My suggestion will be to keep on taking it every day. Throw away the inactive pills and start your next pack in its place for this cycle. That way you do not have to deal with the 5 pills that are now missing from the pack.
