Hi everyone ,
I just recieved the news yesterday that i would need a lletz or cold coagulation. .I was just hoping someone could tell me how they got on really. im having a local anesthetic but ive read that some people have it under general
I was fine when i got the colposcopy but when i got home the cramps were really painfull . if anyone could put my mind at ease id really appreciate it . thank you
Hi, I had lletz treatment a week ago. I didn''t find it as uncomfortable as the colposcopy because of the local anaesthetic. They give you an injection in your cervix which is a bit sore and makes you feel quite panicky because there''s adrenaline in it but it means you don''t feel any pain. I found the experience a bit scary but it wasn''t painful. I felt a little sick afterwards and very tired and have had a light period since. Hopefully that helps
hi. I had mine a few years ago.. the only thing that hurt was the injections into the cervix. After that, i didn't feel anything and it was over before you know it. After i didn't really have any pain or cramping..
