Q: Lisinopril side effects ?

Hi there,

I have been on Lisinopril 10 mg a little over a month now. My bloodpressure was super high but now almost back to normal.
For the past week or so my back is starting to tense up real bad to the point that it really hurts on the back sides on top of the ribcage. I rub the muscles and they feel really tense to a point they could cramp up and I have trouble relaxing the muscles.

Could this be caused by the Lisinopril? and suggestions on how I could relax the muscles more?

How often is this occurring?
Do you get muscle tension at your back daily?

Unusual muscle pain, cramps, or weakness and chest pains are some of the side effects Lisinopril can cause.

Try to inform you doctor about this.
He/She will evaluated the complain you have.
