In this microwave society, people look for instant solutions to their problems even in the area of weight loss. It does not really make sense that they take many years to put on their weight and expect to lose them instantly. They look for diets for quick weight loss just like they look for instant coffee or instant noodles. They did not realize that these diets violate fundamental rules like being just liquid, unbalanced or unenjoyable. Below are the reasons why these diets for quick weight loss won't work.

One of these quick weight loss diets are liquid diets which claim that they work by packing a lot of nutrients and vitamins into them. However, due to the high liquid content, these nutrients tend to be passed out together with the urine. That's probably why these liquid diets are not as effective as they promise. Next, let's look at solid diets.

Solid food diets usually are of low-carb or low-fat which are unbalanced diets in itself supplemented by some meal replacements. As such, the body might not be given sufficient proportion in certain types of food that's required for good health.

Even if these quick weight loss diets can work to a certain extent, will it be sustainable in the long term? As you can imagine, it can be quite miserable to just live on liquids alone or just some meal supplements.
