Lipomas treatment and prevention (Page 11)

I am one of like you guys who has 100s of Lipoma on my arms, hips, back etc... I remember I have had only one tiny little one on my stomach when I was 15 and now I am 29 and grown around 100 maybe not sure Smile but to me looks like 100s because it's everywhere when you feel it in my body. So, I am desperately looking for cure of this freaking serious lipoma problem.

I had been to checkup to one of the world's top hospital "Stanford Hospital" and that doctor also has no solution for me!! Sad As other doctor says he also said the same "NO cure unless removing by surgery" which is impossible as, if I do surgery it will cut down half of my body and leave the scar marks.

So, looking forward to see the GENUINE working medicine for this problem!!! PLEASE HELP IF SOMEONE HAS ANY KIND OF SOLUTION!!

Manjistha oil
I would definitely look up Manjistha oil on the internet and find out it's properties. When you put in Manjistha oil and side effects, you will get several sites to investigate. I have just started to use it on my lipomas and believe that it is going to work. Someone else suggested using 1/2 castor oil (cold pressed) and 1/2 Manjistha oil which is what I am doing. There are also capsules to be taken internally. Rub into lumps twice a day. Hope this works for you.

I am having few lipomas all over my body and one new one forming on my right-front side of the head (scary). From last one month, I am taking twice a day trifala and manjistha capsules (from himalaya shop)and drinking green tea two cups daily. Messaging lipoma with castrol oil+anti stress himalaya oil which consists manjistha. I am going for a walk every day. Drinking half a lemon+one spoonfull olive oil mixture in two galls of hot water every day in the morning (mix everyghing in mixer) to flush lever naturally. I am drinking one galss of parsley water (bunch of parsley boil in pot of water for 15 minutes, cool it and store it in refrigerator) every evening to flush kidney. Eating only whole grain food and whole grain wheat products (like bread etc). Eating lot of fruits and vegitables. Changed my whole life style to get results. Till now no change except I am feeling healty and light. Eating healthy is always good for health. How much is it helping lipoma - only time will tell. I will post in another months time to tell if there is any change in lipoma size.

sodium deoxycholate
Talk to your doctor about this research into the use of sodium deoxycholate injections to reduce or eliminate lipomas:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1631005 7

If you learn something interesting, please post here.

I don't know, but would guess that lipomas form faster if you give them plenty of raw material for fat formation. By that I mostly mean calories, but since fructose has been implicated in fat storage, I'd stay away from high-fructose corn syrup. Oh, and getting regular exercise, good for you in any case, might help burn up those calories before they get grabbed up by lipomas.

I have about ten lipomas, mostly small ones; my sympathies to those who have hundreds!

Here is some research about the use a YAG laser to liquify lipomas so that they can then be sucked out through a 2mm cannula (thin tube):

Wow. I just found this forum and had no idea that so many others were suffering from this. I only have one, but it's on my forehead, right above my left eye. I'm afraid that I'll look like the elephant man one day. It's so embarrassing. It seems like everyone is constantly looking at it. Maybe I'll try the castor oil to see if that helps. I've already had surgery, and it just came back. Bummer.

Lipoma removal
I'm a 24 yr old male. I have lipomas all over body. I have 3-4 maybe even more on the back of my head which becomes really annoying at times when I notice people looking at me weird. I am really considering surgery, because the fear of them getting bigger would be very stressful. If i get them removed from the back of my head will my hair grow over the scars?

Lipoma & protein shakes
I've had lipomas for twenty years and just "dealt" with it after doctors said there is nothing you can do and they are harmless. But finally I'm trying to find a way to get rid of them. My first lipoma developed on my thigh several days after a holistic doctor put me on a "protein fast" to determine what might be causing an allergy problem. For three days I ate nothing other than protein shakes. I do not know what type of protein the shakes were made of, I just remember I was really sick from them (vomiting, headache) but she said to keep it up for the three days. Next I went on a "peas and white rice" diet, adding one "potentially allergenic food per week. After two weeks I quit the diet and quit seeing this doctor. But this regimen left me with lipomas and after two months, a 30 pound weight gain because this stupidity wreaked havoc with my metabolism. (I was never overweight before in my life...) So I'm theorizing that the protein overload and/or some toxic substance in the shake affected my liver. High protein can't be the single cause if vegans also have this problem, but an offending toxin that the body shuttles into a fatty deposit seems to make sense. So liver cleansing might be useful, but that doesn't address how to breakdown the existing fat clumps. Anyway, wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone think back to when they first started seeing their lipomas appear.

lipomaboard
Hi guys, we are trying to organize some sort of structure in lipoma board (google it). There are lots of suggestions and comments what works and what does not. Unfortunally the breakthrough is still to be found. This is a good forum but a little difficult to follow.

get rid of lipomas
Hi guys. I know some sort of diet that can help a lot. It's not easy but once you find your body full of these suckers you'll do anything to get rid of them. OK, here we go:

for 15 days the only things you eat are orange, orange juice and garlic!!
from 6 am to midnight, every two hour, one big Orange, and every two hour in between one big glass of orange juice (natural orange juice of course). Meaning, you start at 6 with an orange,7, orange juice,8, orange,9, orange juice and so forth.
Every hour (6am to midnight) you swallow a spoon of garlic, small cut pieces with some water or orange juice. Starting from day 4, run for 5 minutes and make it 7,9,11 and ..., so 2 minutes more each day. Then take a shower. after every run take a hot shower (that hot that your skin turns a little red) and gently rub your lipomas while slightly push them down. Immediately after, turn the water cold.
that's all. Go ahead and consult it with any type of doctor you want. It wont harm you in any way. The first three days might be hard but you get used to it. Expect to vomit or have a headache between day 1 and 3 but it's not a continuous one, You'll get one of them, and just once but normally it happens on the second or third day. Smoker guys can smoke cigarettes but most probably you won't feel like smoking. The only thing to remember is not to eat anything except orange, orange juice and garlic. The garlic is to prevent mussel pain due to extreme amount of orange. I know this regimen looks a little strange but believe me, it does magic. BUT, you should stick to the plan, can't eliminate garlic cause it smells horrible (and it really does, so you need to stay home for 15 days). And at last, I would recommend you don't eat a lot of meat and any other source of fat after this regimen and after you got rid of lipomas. All these shitty lipoams come from garbage food.

i once got rid of a few with just nutrition and diet.

i am 31 now and i first got these bumps in both armpits around puberty. a few years ago i lived with a friend in the boonies for 3 months and mostly ate at home. i made my own meals from whole foods i got from the health food store and even walmart, like brown rice, quinoa, lentils and potatoes and fruits and pretty normal veggies. i didnt eat a lot of meat, maybe some chicken and or eggs once a day. i was also pretty consistent on a few high quality supplements, like anti-oxidents and glyconutrients. i think i detoxed a little because i remember i got a weird big pimple on my face.

i didnt really keep a close look, but sometime after those 3 months the bumps under my left armpit pretty much went away. the right side i still have and are sized like small peas, more being the size of a BB. more small ones have been found around my groin and my upper hamstrings, a few inches from my navel, and my left forearm.

the increase in occurrence concerns me, mainly for the looks aspect. my eating is not terrible. rarely do i eat fast food and for the last 2 months ive been avoiding meat, sugar, and eating alkaline, so i can kick an infection i got on an open wound. even then more showed up.

i can't put it on a super high priority now but i will be looking for a detox foot machine. i figure it may pull out some bad metals or whatever. of course i need to be consistent on the same supplements i was taking and some good enzymes, since it may deal with my fault fat metabolism.

someone (shetawk) on another board mentioned he took these things for something else and the lipomas went away:
Chlorella, garlic and quintessence
acupuncture, neural therapy (surgical scar injection therapy)
detox foot bath and 3 days of herbs & meds

Don't get frustated and don't keep thinking about the lipoma's.

Do Yoga exercises, balance diet, take some ayurvedic medicines, drink green tea, drink two tablespoon of flaxseeds with warm water early morning.

Try to get rid from this disease naturally. do it regularly it works.

Guess what i just got my second lipoma, and after reading this thread its now clear to me :
1) hereditary : possible, my grandfather had it at the same place as mine the neck.He had them removed and guess what, more lipoma developed. SO i guess any operation is a no no for me.
2) Liver: yes i suspect its the liver function, my 2nd lipoma appeared after the doctor treated my cough n colds and advised me to take an antibiotic.i hope anyone could share the same experience regarding infections vs antibiotics vs lipoma.

I guess any intake of toxins, medicine and food affecting the liver functions may cause lipoma, but which one is causing this ? athletes, health buffs, young, old, men and women alike are having lipoma,,healthy people may have a perfect diet but we still have a common denominator ..water and the air we breath ?? thank you all for the info

For the past six months I have been taking the supplement BioSuperfoods (BSF) F2 Core. I have multiple lipomas on my arms and thighs, while they have not disappeared they are definitely softer and less noticeable. I also eliminated sugar, white flour, soda from my diet. I added more fresh fruits and vegetables. I also occasionally do a liver detox with fresh lemon juice and water. Not sure what is giving me the results I have seen, but I will continue on this path. Had surgery two years ago and did not want to go through that again. Good luck. I know how frustrating it can be.

I was considering starting Beta Glucan. For those of you that are using it, or have used it was it produced from oats and yeast? As some sources state that Beta Gucan derived from yeast can irritate lipoma supposedly by causing inflammation.

Lump
I have a lump under my skin about the size of a half dollar on my forearm. It doesn't hurt at all and can press on it and it rolls around a bit under my fingers. Only noticeable when arm is straightened out, not when I bend my arm. Does this sound like lipoma??
