Q: Liklihood of varicocele

well im 16 and i was wonderin cuz my left ball is well bigger than my right, like just a bit but on the top of my left ball theres like a bunch of lumps, feels like worms but they have been there for like a year and im to shy to go see a doctor and would like some advice b4 i decide to make an appointment and i check on it and it doesnt get bigger or nothing

Given the information you provided, it seems likely that you might be experiencing varicocele. Varicocele are swollen veins that lead blood out of the testicles. They are usually found on the top of the testicle. 98% occur in the left testicle. If not treated, they can cause damage to the testicle tissue. Varicocele are usually accompanied with pain in the scrotum, or feeling of heaviness in the testicles. However, in every man one of the testicles is bigger than the other. Most men do not recognize this, or the difference is not so big. The “worms on the top” might also be mixed with epididimys, the tube that connects each testicle to its vas defference.


Because of the fact that the lack of pain does not exclude varicocele, you might want to see your GP or urologist, in order to determine the real condition.
