It seems likely that the appearance of ‘red bumps on my vagina’ and ‘lower butt cheeks’ in the presence of a history of unprotected sex should be investigated for genital herpes, which is a STD. These lesions may or may not itch. The other STDs which should also be thought of are chancroid, syphilis, molluscum contagiosum, and venereal warts.
The other possibilities are an allergy to something that came in contact with this area like soap, power, undergarments, etc. It can also be a vaginal fungal infection, which does not itch initially. Simple bacterial infection, atopic dermatitis, and certain forms of eczema can also cause these symptoms.
It is difficult to comment beyond this without examining the lesions. Discuss these possibilities with your gynecologist. Hope this helps. Take care!
