I had a lightheaded spell for no reason, I got very scared about this and I paniced badly.
I was in hospital for 2 days on a heart monitor and on had a Echocardiagram done plus lots of blood work, all came bck normal.
I told the Dr's I had a really wierd feeling in my head, but they didn't seem concerned about this, this was in September 2008, its now nearly March 2009 and I still get the lightheadedness and really bad nausea, never been sick though, I get palpitations on/off and feel likes my insides are shakin, my GP said I think you have Anxiety but I'm not convinced, I admit I might if paniced about the dizzy spell I had, but what caused it, the Dr's don't know, so this has left me even more in a panic, my GP put me on Propranolol 10mg I have 6 of these aday.
I ask my GP for a mri scan but all of them said there was no need I don't show any symtoms of something really serious.
But if I do suffer from Anxiety should they not carry this out just to put my mind at rest.
Can i suffer from Anxiety and not have known about it, and can 1/2 dizzy spells releat to having Anxiety, I only had the dizzy spells to start with nothing else.
PLEASE HELP!!

Yeah you can suffer from anxiety and not know about it but your doctor will know what is best for you....if you are still uneasy about it ask for a second opinion..Jenny

I agree, panic, if this is what you are experiencing, can cause lots of things to happen, but as Jenny states, it is not a bad idea to get a second opinion.
