Q: Light spots on the forehead

Does the symptoms that my son have sound serious? Should I take him to a pediactric or dermatologist.

Current medical status: light spots on forehead that are spreading over face. African american with light spots that are not scaly or rough
Current medical treatment: none yet

Yes, you can take your son to a dermatologist to have those light spots on his forehead checked out although the symptoms don't sound serious.
