Q: Light period symptoms after period

This is the first time I have experienced light bleeding and cramps after my period has ended, about ten days later. I normally ovulate and know when I'm ovulating approx two weeks before my next period. I did take a pregnancy test and it ended up being negative. Could I still be pregnant and its to early for the test to detect or is this something I should contact my OB about?
