I have been taking Yaz for a year now, and was on Yasmin for 5 years prior to that. I've never missed a pill and my periods on Yaz were like clockwork. Typically I'd start my reminder pills on a Wednesday and would have my period or at least spotting by Friday. Typically I'd bleed heavily Saturday and into my next pill pack Sunday and taper off into Monday and Tuesday.

This month has been different though. I felt the symptoms of my period coming normally such as that dull feeling and slight cramping, a little moodiness, etc. but I only had brown spotting with maybe a trace of blood here and there. That started this past Saturday and went through yesterday. Past that I had maybe a couple of times where I wiped some light pink, but I'm still experiencing some very dull cramping. I usually don't cramp past the day that I start bleeding.

I have experienced more stress through part of December but not so much in the past couple of weeks. I also changed my diet somewhat to try to lose a little weight, so I was eating less than what I was used to before.

I am sexually active but he actually has not come inside me without wearing a condom. We will have intercourse without one but when it's time for him to ejaculate he puts one on. Since my period has changed so much this month, I went ahead and took a home pregnancy test last night and it came out negative. We have sex about once a week on average so I'm not exactly sure of when to calculate it back, but the last time up until then was about 2 weeks ago.

Should I have anything to worry about? I've experienced no pregnancy symptoms at all like sore boobs or nausea, but I just wanted to ask just in case it is just side effects from the pill or stress. Thanks!
