Im getting kind of worried about this, wondering if this seems normal or not... I have no health insurance so I cannot visit a doctor at the moment, so maybe one of you can help :)
I dont know if this would have anything to do with it but I will include it just in case...
Back in August of 2010 I had an abortion ( I do regret it everyday ) and everything went okay. I had a vacuum aspiration, with no D & C.
Anyways, they told me everything went okay, i had the normal bleeding and such, and got my period normally the next month.
My periods have been normal since, but this month it is really light, and brown, which I know means it is old blood. I have only had pinkish blood for like an hour this whole cycle, otherwise its been brown and light, ive only been having to wear one pad a day. It started on the day my cycle was set to start (the 16th) and is ending today (the 21st). I recently started working as a waitress last month, and have not been eating full meals every day. So maybe that could be affecting it?
Also, I have not had sex in the last 2 months, so I know its not pregnancy!
Brownish discharge could be due to many factors as breakthrough of menstrual flow, polyps,Pelvic inflammatory disease,Endometriosis, infections etc.Are you having any other symptom along with discharge like pain, lump in vagina, fever?
It requires a proper pelvic examination and is very difficult to comment without examining on net.Kindly visit a Gynaec ologist for evaluation.
